Greetings Brothers in the Bond:
It was with profound sadness and regret that we request your presence to stand with the officers of the New Orleans Alumni Chapter in honor, prayer, and allegiance for our beloved Brother Arthur J. Winfield, Jr. who transitioned from Labor to Reward today (22 FEB 2015) at 456PM.
Brother Winfield was a graduate of Dillard University where he was subsequently a Spring 1968 initiate of the Beta Gamma of Kappa Alpha Psi (KΑΨ) Fraternity, Incorporated.
We know that our lives are often calculated in tens of years and yet no one knows the day or the hour and yet death comes, we must therefore discover and embrace comfort in death for it unites us with the Eternal One. May the God of Abraham, Jacob and Isaac grant his peace, countenance and grace to our beloved Brother Winfield and his family now and forever more.
Brothers, please note that services are pending and will be published at such time when we as a chapter shall pay our respects to our dear brother.
